The Bin store

At 1038 Main Ave in Clifton, New Jersey, you'll find The Bin store, a bin and liquidation store listed under Amazon returns; the location is listed as permanently closed.

What you'll find

The basic idea behind an Amazon-return store is simple: returned and excess goods are bought by the pallet and resold cheaply, typically without sorting by department. Expect a dig: stock in bins is mixed, items may be new, open-box or incomplete, and what's there one day may be gone the next. A phone number and a Facebook page are listed for the store, and there is no website. Since the location is listed as permanently closed, treat this as background on the kind of store it was.

When to go & what it costs

The daily price starts at $10 on Saturday, then runs Sunday $8, Monday $6, Tuesday $4, Wednesday $3, Thursday $2, and ends the cycle at $1 on Friday. Listed hours are Monday through Friday 9AM-6PM, Saturday 9AM-7PM and Sunday 9AM-6PM, with no closed day shown. In general, a falling schedule like this rewards flexibility; higher-price days usually mean more to pick through, lower-price days mean better odds of a bargain on what remains. These details are the last listed schedule; with the location listed as permanently closed, don't plan a trip without confirming it has reopened.
