King of Deals

King of Deals, at 536 Beach 20th St in Queens, New York, is listed as a bin and liquidation store that carries the Amazon-returns tag; the location is listed as permanently closed.

What you'll find

As a general rule, Amazon-return liquidators work through pallets of returned and overstock merchandise, and the mix shifts every time a new load comes in. Because return and liquidation stock is unsorted, condition varies widely from one item to the next; open the box and look things over when you can. For contact, a phone number and a Facebook page are listed; there is no website. Since the location is listed as permanently closed, treat this as background on the kind of store it was.

When to go & what it costs

On the posted schedule, Friday is the top-price day at $10; after that it goes Saturday $10, Sunday $8, Monday $5, bottoming out at $3 on Tuesday. The hours on file are Monday and Tuesday 10AM-6PM and Friday through Sunday 10AM-6PM, and the store is listed as closed Wednesday and Thursday. In general, a falling schedule like this rewards flexibility; higher-price days usually mean more to pick through, lower-price days mean better odds of a bargain on what remains. These details are the last listed schedule; with the location listed as permanently closed, don't plan a trip without confirming it has reopened.
