EMPTY THE BINS

Located at 21 Main St in Yonkers, New York, EMPTY THE BINS is listed as a bin and liquidation store with an Amazon-returns tag.

What you'll find

Amazon-return bin stores typically buy truckloads or pallets of returned and surplus goods and pour them into bins, so the selection is whatever arrived in the latest load. Because return and liquidation stock is unsorted, condition varies widely from one item to the next; open the box and look things over when you can. A phone number and a Facebook page are listed for the store, and there is no website.

When to go & what it costs

On the posted schedule, Saturday is the top-price day at $12; after that it goes Sunday $10, Monday $8, Tuesday $6, Wednesday $4, bottoming out at $1 on Thursday. Opening hours are listed as Monday through Wednesday 10AM-7PM, Thursday 10AM-2PM, Saturday 9AM-7PM and Sunday 10AM-7PM, closed Friday. In general, a falling schedule like this rewards flexibility; higher-price days usually mean more to pick through, lower-price days mean better odds of a bargain on what remains. Hours and prices are as listed and subject to change; confirm before heading over.
